Several projects at once

Every project has its own team, board and worktrees, so you can run several at once. Tutti keeps one list of what needs you across all of them.

The sidebar

From top to bottom:

  • Needs you: conversations waiting for an answer, a permission or a plan approval, in any project.
  • Running: agents working right now.
  • Ready to review: finished turns waiting for you.
  • Projects: each project with counts of who needs you and who's working. Expand one to see its conversations; switch between Chats and Cards, and filter cards by title, number or teammate.

Press ⌘[ and ⌘] to step through conversations, and ⌘K to jump anywhere by name.

Notifications

Tutti notifies you when an agent needs you (a question, a permission request or a plan to approve) and when it finishes, unless you're already looking at it. Clicking a notification opens the conversation. Choose which ones you get in Settings → Notifications, and send a test notification there to check your system lets them through.

Starting work in another project

⌘N opens the same box from anywhere: pick the project, then the team or one agent. The work starts in that project's own worktree, with its own ports, so nothing clashes with the project you're in.

Keeping your machine happy

  • Ports never clash: each conversation gets unique ports. Use $TUTTI_PORT in tutti.toml instead of fixed ports.
  • Databases and containers: name them per conversation with $TUTTI_SESSION (for example a Compose project -p $TUTTI_SESSION), and clean up in [teardown].
  • Fewer prompts: each agent asks for permissions on its own. With many agents, choose Auto-edit in Settings so they only ask before running commands.
  • Archive finished conversations to remove their worktrees and free disk space. Branches stay.
