Command line

The tutti command comes with every install. It talks to the Tutti core, the background service that runs your agents, and is handy on servers and in scripts.

Commands

CommandWhat it does
tutti statusShow whether a core is running, and its version.
tutti openOpen Tutti in your browser. Prints a one-time login link.
tutti open --no-browserOnly print the link; don't launch a browser (servers, SSH).
tutti loginSign in to your Tutti account; opens a browser.
tutti login --deviceSign in with a one-time code you enter on another device, for machines without a browser.
tutti logoutSign out on this machine. Local work is untouched.
tutti whoamiShow the signed-in account.
tutti init [path]Detect the repository's stack and print a proposed tutti.toml (default: the current folder).
tutti init --writeSave the proposal as tutti.toml in the repository root.
tutti init --write --forceOverwrite an existing tutti.toml.
tutti core startStart the core (Tutti's background service) if it isn't running.
tutti core stopStop the running core gracefully.
tutti --versionPrint the version.
tutti help [command]Help for any command.

Every command takes --data-dir <path> (or TUTTI_DATA_DIR) to talk to a core with a different data folder.

Examples

Set up a repository from a terminal

cd ~/code/acme-shop
tutti init # look at the proposal
tutti init --write # save it as tutti.toml
tutti open # open Tutti and add the project

A machine without a desktop

curl -fsSL https://tutti.build/install.sh | sh
tutti login --device # enter the code shown on another device
tutti core start
tutti open --no-browser # prints a one-time link

The core listens only on 127.0.0.1. To use it from your laptop, forward its port over SSH and open the printed link. Remote access from other devices and your phone is coming soon.

Is it running?

tutti status
tutti core stop && tutti core start # restart it
