Concepts
Tutti is built on a few ideas. A project has one team. You talk to the team through its lead, or put cards on its board. Every piece of work happens in its own worktree with its own ports, and you review it before it goes anywhere.
How they fit together
- You add a project: a repository or a folder on your machine.
- Tutti suggests its team: a lead and teammates with roles, strengths and their own notes.
- Work starts as a conversation with the lead or one agent, or as a card on the board.
- Each conversation gets its own git worktree, branch and ports, set up from
tutti.toml. - Tutti saves a checkpoint after every turn; you review the diff, comment, approve and open a pull request.
- Commands from
tutti.tomlonly run once you trust them.
- ProjectsWhat Tutti works on, and the project page.
- Team and rolesTeammates, templates, memory, AGENTS.md.
- The lead (CTO)Who plans and hands out the work.
- ConversationsChats, permissions, modes and the side panel.
- The board and cardsColumns, cards, questions and approval.
- Worktrees and portsIsolation for every piece of work.
- Checkpoints and reviewUndo, diffs, comments and pull requests.
- Trust and tutti.tomlWhat runs, from where, and when.
