Checkpoints and review

You stay in control of what ships. Tutti saves a checkpoint after every agent turn, shows you exactly what changed, and nothing is pushed, merged or deleted unless you ask.

Checkpoints

After each agent turn that changed files, Tutti saves a checkpoint of the worktree. Agents can also save named ones, and you can choose Take checkpoint any time. Checkpoints live on hidden git refs, so they don't clutter your branches.

The Checkpoints tab of a conversation: checkpoint #1, Agent turn finished, with a Restore button.
A restore point after every turn.

Restore puts the worktree's files back to that checkpoint. The current state is saved as a new checkpoint first, so you can undo the restore. Restoring changes files only: your branch and commits stay as they are. Interrupt a running agent before you restore, so it doesn't overwrite the restored files.

Reviewing changes

The Changes tab lists every file the agent created or edited, with a diff. Click a line to comment on it, add as many comments as you like, then Send to agent: the agent gets them all as its next message.

A conversation where the agent changed backend/shop/checkout.py; the Changes tab shows the one-line diff and a box to comment on it.
The diff next to the chat, with comments on any line.

From the same tab you can write a commit message, Commit and Push the branch.

Pull requests

Open PR pushes the branch and opens a pull request on GitHub with your GitHub CLI login (gh); Tutti never stores a GitHub token. You can open it as a draft (the default is in Settings → Git & GitHub). Once it's open, the conversation shows the pull request and whether its checks pass, fail or are still running.

You need the GitHub CLI, signed in once with gh auth login, and a repository with an origin remote on GitHub.

Board cards

On the board, a finished card lands in Review with the teammate's report. Approve it or send it back with a comment; see The board and cards. Approving a card is your sign-off on the work; merging is still up to you, through a pull request or your usual flow.
